How to Choose a Lawyer

Don't just select your attorney based on who you see on TV or hear on the radio. Don't pick your lawyer based on how high they appear in google searches. You should select an attorney based on experience, dedication to you and your case, and whether their personality matches your preferences. You will be working with this attorney for a long time. You need to make sure you won't dread talking with them and that you will be able to respect them and trust their opinions.

Let's Compare

Andrew T. Silvia

Experience

I have been a lawyer handling personal injury, worker's compensation, and employment law for 15 years.

Trial Experience

I've conducted jury and bench trials in Massachusetts Superior Courts, District Courts, The United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. I've conducted Hearings at the Social Security Administration and Massachusetts Department of Industrial Accidents.

Other Attorneys

Don't be fooled by the experience of their senior attorneys. Who will be handling your case? How much experience do they have?

Don't be fooled by the combined experience of their firm. How many trials has the attorney handling your case conducted, and in how many Courts?

Last Trial

My last Jury Trial was in March and I won.

When was the last trial for the attorney that will be assigned your case?

Dedication

I will personally handle every case. I will only accept cases I feel passionately about and limit the number of cases I take to allow proper attention.

Can they say the same?

Personality Match

I believe I have a great personality, but it only matters what you think. We should meet in-person, through Zoom, or on the phone for you to decide for yourself.

Will they give you the same opportunity with the lawyer who will actually handle your case?
